How To Use Penn State On Demand
1. Set your cable box to Comcast On Demand
Activate Comcast On Demand on your cable box by pressing the "On Demand" button on your Comcast remote control.
2. Select "Get Local" from the programming options
Using your remote control, you can navigate through the different types of On Demand categories by using the arrow keys. Navigate to the "Get Local" category and press the "OK/Select" button on your remote control.
3. Select the "Penn State" On Demand Channel
Once you've selected "Get Local", you will have the option of selecting various local On Demand channels. Use the arrow keys to navigate to "Penn State" and press the "OK/Select" button on your remote control.
4. Choose the type of program to watch
Navigate through the different types of programming categories by using the arrow keys on your remote control.
These categories include Outdoors, Penn State Life, PA Stories, Home and Garden, PJ O'Connell, Education, Arts, Research, Health. When the category you wish to see is highlighted, press the "OK/Select" button.
5. Choose your program
Once you've chosen a category, use the arrow keys to scroll through a list of titles available for viewing. Continue to scroll until the title you wish to view is highlighted. Press the "OK/Select" button.
Once you've chosen a program you will be taken to a screen with a detailed description of the program you have selected. To watch the selected program use the arrow keys to highlight the "eye" icon in the lower left corner of the screen and press "OK/Select".
7. Playback
Once the program has started playing, you can use your remote to stop, fast-forward, rewind, pause and resume your program.
